The Theresa and Allen Thomas BIPOC Education Fund was established in 2022 by Dr. Theresa Thomas and Mr. Allen Thomas with the intended purpose of assisting, primarily, African Americans, but also Indigenous Peoples and other People of Color with the ever-rising cost of funding education by providing them with scholarships. Initially, such scholarships shall be provided to students attending the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine located in Ithaca, NY.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants MUST demonstrate financial need
Applicants MUST be FULL time 2nd, 3rd or 4th year veterinary student
Applicants MUST attend the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (Ithaca, NY)
Scholarship Amount
Two (2) nonrenewable scholarships, worth $15,000 each, are to be awarded annually
