The Bria T. Chism Foundation Scholarship fund was established by the Bria T. Chism Foundation within the POISE Foundation in June 2021. Its goal is to provide financial assistance to students in the field of oncology nursing.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must:
Be oncology nursing students
Be in their clinical and/or third year of study
Have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
Be attending an accredited nursing school, college or university, in person or online that is located within a 50-mile radius of Kansas City, Missouri
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
As an example, one (1) $500 scholarship was awarded in 2022
