Advancing Black Art Virtually
Fiscal Sponsorship
The program provides a subscription series to create content about Black artists from around the world, that is readily available and accessible to individuals, galleries, museums, collectors, corporations, academic institutions, etc. The information will feature Black artists and collectors that will include interviews, images of artwork, news and other relevant information.
Alliance for Police Accountability
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2016 by the Board of Trustees to accept payments and contributions made to the work of the Alliance for Police Accountability (APA) a fiscally sponsored program of POISE Foundation. Contributions are designated for the program and operations of APA.
Black Equity Coalition
Fiscal Sponsorship
The Black Equity Coalition Fund was created in July 2020 by The Black Equity Coalition to address health disparities that exists between the Black and White community in Pittsburgh, PA and other select cities. The fund was established as a response to the COVID-19 Pandemic but was designed to address long term comorbidity issues that have existed for many years.
Black Girls Drone
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2022 by Black Girls Drone, the fund's goal is to prepare black girls and other under resourced audiences for careers in technology by introducing the technical, opportunity and earning potential of becoming drone literate.
Black Tech Nation
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2020 by Kelauni Cook, Founder of Black Tech Nation to receive funds to support Black Tech Nation’s digital education program for Black people in tech.
BME - Freedom Indeed
Fiscal Sponsorship
This fund was established in 2018 to support the Freedom Indeed Project created by Cornell Jones with initial funding through BME Genius award. This program is designed to train ex-offender men and women on how to learn every position in the internet radio field.
Common Unity Pgh
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2022 by Common Unity Pittsburgh, the fund's goal is to support the Value the Vacant program for resources and education towards ownership.
Creative Balance 4 Empowering People
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2021 by Creative Balance 4 Empowering People to provide daily wellness programming as well annual health and wellness events for African American Families.
Eat Initiative
Fiscal Sponsorship
This Fund was established in 2018 to assist marginalized people trapped in food deserts. These people suffer from a lack of access to fresh food, and many do not know how to prepare new meals in the most nutritious and cost-efficient ways for their families. The program will create partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations and offer wellness classes and meal preparation workshops for people living at or below poverty.
Juneteenth
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2013 by Stop the Violence Pittsburgh (William Marshall) to support various community cultural and education programs with a specific emphasis on celebrating Juneteenth in the City of Pittsburgh.
My Brother's Keeper
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2018 by the City of Pittsburgh and the County of Allegheny to support the work of the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative focused on the well-being of the African American child and family first and foremost. The Six Milestones in the MBK Framework refer to key developmental inflection points from early childhood through successful post-secondary matriculation and career attainment.
Philadelphia Black Giving Circle

Established in 2017 by the Founding Members of The Philadelphia Black Giving Circle. Its purpose is to assist charitable organizations in Philadelphia that support the city’s black community. This fund supports the Giving Circle's grants to eligible organizations.
Pittsburgh College Access Alliance

Pittsburgh College Access Alliance (PCAA) is a consortium of four organizations: Crossroads Foundation, FAME, NEED and The Neighborhood Academy. The Program focuses on fostering educational achievement for Black students by building networks, empowering families and advancing best practices that lead to college and career.
Pittsburgh Hardball Academy

Established in 2020 by Nelson Cooper and Brian Jacobson, Pittsburgh Hardball Academy looks to enrich the lives of underrepresented and underserved youth in the Greater Pittsburgh region via the games of baseball and softball, year-round academic & social enrichment programming, college advisement & recruiting services, and high-level travel teams while leveraging donations to remove barriers to entry.
Professional Women’s Network (PWN)

Established in 2022 by PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S NETWORK, the fund supports women of color to excel in their personal and professional lives through networking and engagement opportunities.
Rho Bule
Fiscal Sponsorship
Formed in 2023, the Rho Boule fund supports access to higher educational opportunities for young African American men.
Share Pittsburgh Business Initiative
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2020 by the Share Committee to focus on advancing diverse vendor knowledge of business opportunities across participating corporations through matchmaking sessions.
Young Voices Action Collective (YVAC)
Fiscal Sponsorship
Established in 2022 by Davonte Johnson, funds are used for facilitating youth-led restorative justice programs that use an innovative hybrid of organizing and direct mutual aid resulting in leadership development and community relationships that will empower young voices and lift up in communities in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
