Candis Dorsey

Candis Dorsey is a seasoned Executive Administrative Assistant with over 15 years in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative duties. Having held positions in the medical field, real estate, education, as well as Profit and Non Profit Organizations, Candis is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various companies. She has increased efficiency in several of her assigned roles, and is very effective at teaching new trainees. Candis has experience with interacting directly with potential and existing clients, and has increased customer satisfaction ratings at several companies.

Candis graduated from Pittsburgh Job Corps with her Diploma, Certification in Office Administration, Water Safety Certification, as well as being certified in CPR. Following she began working as an assistant at private practice Eye Physicians & Surgeons, owned by Dr. John Maher 2nd top Ophthalmic Surgeon in Pittsburgh as well as Shadyside Hospital, Chief of Ophthalmology. In her roles, she has been responsible for organizing meetings and schedules, as well as training new hires and being an active liaison for 3 MDs and 2 ODs.

In addition to her duties as an Executive Assistant, Candis is currently pursuing her first of 2 degrees with great ambition. Her position within the POISE Foundation continues to be great motivation. Additionally, she is also very active within her personal life. She does athletic training, yoga, and modeling for self and with others. She holds high regard in the practice of a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically.
