This scholarship is limited to high school seniors

Minimum Requirements

Student must live in the Greater Pittsburgh Region (Allegheny County, Beaver County, Washington County, Westmoreland County, Armstrong County, or Butler County)
Have at least a 3.00 GPA
Preference is given to African American students

Six KSEF financial award scholarships will be awarded:

First place: $3,500 KSEF Thomas Motley Award;
Second place: $2,500 KSEF UPMC Award;
Third place: $2,000 KSEF Highmark Award;
Fourth place:
- (1) one $1,000 Dollar Bank Award and
- (2) two KSEF $1,000 each.

The application period for 2024 is currently open. It will close January 31, 2024.
