The Olivia E. Jones Legacy Fund has been established to build upon the successful, community-minded work Olivia was dedicated to for more than 40 years.

Olivia worked within the YMCA system for decades, starting her career in Glen Hazel, moving onto Hazelwood, and ending her career at the Y in Homewood. Olivia dedicated her personal time and professional career to uplifting communities, with a particular passion for working with youth. The mark she left within many communities will never be erased. Her “heart” is what guided her through life. She displayed unconditional love for her family and the communities she served. For these reasons, her family plans to keep Olivia’s spirit and vision alive, through establishment of this Fund.

Beginning in 2018, The Olivia E. Jones Legacy Fund will be used to provide scholarships to qualified individuals aspiring to attend college or trade school and/or organizations supporting families who are facing hardships. Eligibility requirements will be made public in early 2018.
